A Heartfelt Message

FIRST, I will lead off with a CONFESSION.
Unlike everyone else’s claims on the internet, I am not a millionaire. A lot of people proclaim that they are making millions hand over fist on the internet.
What I can tell you is that I am making a very comfortable income from the friendly confines of my own home. I am surrounded by multiple high figure 6 and 7 figure income earners and am following in my mentor’s footsteps to be one very shortly.

My previous profession was in the mortgage lending industry. I was helping families get into homes, saving others with refinancing options and building great relationships along the way. So when my income, my stress level and my family life started to suffer due to the economy, government and the blatant deceit, greed and fraud that arose from the corporate levels in this industry, my passion for this business just went down stream and I found myself drowning in it.  Now, I’m not sure if any of you can relate or have found yourself in a similar situation, but after all the years I worked to build my business, I was now working 5 times harder and longer for 10 times less! I soon realized I simply owned a job (and not a business) and it was just not worth the same after a 22 year investment. Pretty dismal stuff.

After a lot of investigation, soul searching and prayer, the decision to leave my mortgage career of 22 years came a couple years ago. It was a tough decision to leave behind a business that I took extreme pride in providing quality services, consistent results, satisfied clients, but most importantly, building a reputation for strong character and integrity in everything I did. Even in a down economy, I managed to maintain and provide quality service to my clients and business partners. After seeing the writing on the walls a couple years ago when the mortgage meltdown started rearing its ugliness, I started researching a few business opportunities online that could generate enough income and still keep me and my family sane and above water financially.

Heres My Inspiration, What’s Yours?

I want to share with you my story, who I am and why you should even listen to what I have to say. I’ll teach you is that success in this business is very doable, and where I started out and where I am today is completely attainable for you and I’ll share with you how and why you can be an accomplished entrepreneur too.

So to walk you through the first chapter of my internet marketing career. I’m just a fairly regular guy living in Ohio, married to a beautiful and talented wife of 20 years.  I have 4 amazing boys that I am raising to be gentlemen in this not so gentle world and we have the same struggles that many have.  Schoolwork getting done, transportation to all their sporting activities, teen pressures, girlfriends, cell phone texting privileges, stressing the importance of family dinners, Sunday church and stewardship and finding time to have date night with my girlfriend of 20 years (that would be my wife)..

I have been an entrepreneur for as long as I can remember.  I started when I was 12-13 years old following my dad on Friday and Saturday early mornings going to flea markets and garage sales, buying up furniture, merchandise of all kinds and reselling it for profits.  I then worked with him when I was 16 and I was making more money than my friends were working half as much time.  Now this I liked!  I did a stint for a couple years working at Wendys, then at a popular audio and appliance company in town until I was introduced to the real estate world, by who else, my dad again.  I left my secure  $22,000 a year job for a business he had 6 months vested in and we together formed a very profitable family owned mortgage and real estate practice that was extremely good to us for 20 years or so.  Then, in the middle of 2007, the mortgage business began to crumble. The real estate and mortgage industry got hit the hardest, and then over the next couple years, we were one of the statistics of small businesses in real estate that were losing ground. The business I loved and helped grow and prosper in was now a part of a dismal economic disaster and I knew I needed to diversify my income streams. The lifestyle I created for my family was beginning to seem unattainable. I knew something had to give.  Something had to change.

By this time, my wife had resumed her nursing career after taking a hiatus to stay at home and raise our children to help support the family, and eventually, to actually take over as primary bread winner. We made a decision to make several cuts in the business, some were difficult and personal cuts, to keep the business up and running. I was now 100% available for the kids for after school pickup, homework help, and everything that goes along with being a stay at home parent. I was 42 years old and making a tenth of what I was accustomed to before the mortgage industry meltdown hit. I soon realized that it was going to be very difficult to keep my mortgage business alive and well.

I was sick of how things were and knew that the only person to make a change and to make something happen was me, and only me. I was not going to wake up someday and everything was going to work itself out all by itself. Mediocrity was not going to be my new lifestyle. Everyone of us comes in to internet marketing for a particular reason. Most of the time that reason is emotional.  We are looking to fulfill a need in our lives that is lacking and causing us pain. So that’s when I begin my mission to recreate my financial future in the home based business industry.

I turned into an internet business investigator. I remember many nights.  pouring myself a cold adult beverage and nestled in at my computer to look for some ways to make some extra cash. I googled home business opportunities and, well you know what shows.  The results are in the millions! Thousands of “get rich yesterday by stuffing envelopes in your spare time” results appeared. Being somewhat of a skeptic, I dove in head first and spent the next several weeks reading everything about the multi level marketing industry. So much of what I was seeing was just hype and overstated promises of wealth and success.  The difficult thing about the Internet was there are few things I found that were trustworthy and there is a lack of leadership. There was a lack of somebody to take me by the hand and teach me to be successful. As I was searching for the answer online, I ran into an opportunity that changed my life forever.

Well, this is where it gets exciting for me.  You see, I was looking for an income supplement, but what I found was actually much more than that.  I just didn’t know it at the time. I was not an overnight sensation. People that claim they simply buy into a plug and play corporate website system and make thousands over night are simple lies and you should run away from them quickly. I know this because I am embarrassed to say, that I have first hand experience with this. I was exhausted and my credit card was racking up a significant debt and I knew something was not right with sending people to replicated websites that are not personal and do not make a connection to people, that only emphasize products and features only benefit that company, and not you.  If that company goes out of business, and many do, there goes your list of leads you worked hard for and your business could be shut down overnight. I knew that if people knew me on a personal level, and I got to know them and they learned that I care for them and wanted to help them become successful, I could make a difference in their lives and mine.

If you want to build your business the traditional route, friends and family, hotel seminars, networking events, belly to belly, cold calling prospects, that is fine and dandy and perfectly ok.  Those strategies work and have worked for decades and they still work for some people today.  That was not how I envisioned building a business and maybe you don’t either. I’ll also teach you the 5 elements that you absolutely need to know to build a successful online business.

So fast forward my life and this is where I am now; I am making a very comfortable income from home and able to do more with my kids and wife than I ever could have imagined with what I am going to share with you.

Now is the where the story is about you.  You can choose one of three options.

Option 1. You don’t have to do anything.  I’ll give all the information you need, and if your not ready to decide yet, that is perfectly fine.  Simply X out of this web page and keep on doing what you are doing.  I know that you know the 80/20 rule that 20% do and the 80% don’t in business.

Option 2- I’ve helped a lot of people on the internet , but I may not be the right person for you.  You might not like what you hear or you feel theres something else out there for you. Again, that’s ok too.

• Someone who is looking for a fairy tale ”Get-Rich-Quick” and “Easy-Money” opportunity.
• Someone that is NOT willing to work hard and do “whatever it takes”.  Propsperity in this biz is not for the unmotivated and lazy!
• Someone that does NOT follow instructions because they think they have it all figured out.

One of the biggest lessons I have learned in building a successful and prosperous business is this;

Follow the leaders, you know, the top producers. Do what they do, but with my own flair and personal branding, and off you will go.

What if this is all a scam, a bunch of hype rolled into a web posting with ridiculous claims and garbage playing on your emotions. What if it is?

But what if it isnt?
What if what you have been searching for all along, you finally found it.
Turn your sceptism off for a few moments, let your guard down momentarily, or even just half way. You are not going to get hurt.
I want to share with you something that changed my life and can change yours too.
Everyone has ‘the dream’.  To make your dream a reality, you need the plan, the process, the people, the persistence, the patience and the passion.

Now, I want you to ask yourself a question… do you think a traditional business owner, whether it’s of a Subway or McDonalds franchise,  a real estate brokerage, a landscaping company, a computer software company, a used car lot, a Dental practice, a retail store, a construction company, etc. would ever be successful if they didn’t throw themselves into it?… if they didn’t make it a top priority in their lives? Of course not.  The bottom line is that you’re in charge of your own future.  Unfortunately, there is a trend in our great country for people not to take personal responsibility for their actions, success, or failure. This is a message for people with serious ambitions for their future; people that are willing to put all the excuses aside and improve their lives. People that are sick and tired of being sick and tired; people that are ready to hear the truth about what it takes to become wealthy in network marketing.  One of your most important questions you have to ask yourself is this; Who am I going to do business with? I’m sure you’ve heard this one before -  When it comes to success, there are those that do it and make it happen, there are those that watch others make it happen, and there are those that say, What Just Happened?
Imagine for a moment that you are at a gathering at a friend’s house and someone asks you what you do for a living.  Imagine how it would feel to tell your friends that you own a thriving, prosperous business and have the freedom to do the things YOU want to do when YOU want to do them? Success is not convenient. After all, what do you expect to have to do to earn a full-time income on part-time hours? Do you really think you can come home from your job, spend time surfing the internet, watching some TV, making dinner, and playing with the kids – and then maybe squeeze in a little spare time to make one or two phone calls for your business – and have that effort earn you $20,000 to $30,000 a month? Some people really believe this and that is where this business gets a bad wrap.  The outrageous claims of “Getting Rich Overnight Is A Pipe Dream”.

I have a passion for what I do. I love this industry. I dedicate  on average 4-6 hours a day to my business. Some days more and some none at all.
But the beauty of it is that its my choice how I spend my time. I’m doing the things I want to do when I want to do them.
