There you have it.  Somewhat simple, but the odds are stacked against you. You can send me your $39.95 because I just saved you thousands!  If I have learned one thing from my success and the successes of other internet marketers it is this; In order to turn your dreams into success, you have to work.  You will have to work hard, you gotta work consistently to improve and ultimately be your best.  You can dream all you want.  But at some point, the dream will fade unless the hard work begins to create the results.

You see, building a successful online or offline home based style business and living and breathing the sweet entrepreneur free oxygen, you have to wake up every day and have a purpose, a plan, a process to get to your end result. My team recently hosted our first mastermind retreat with a dozen of the brightest and newest stars on the internet (Brandon Koon,Tracy Walker,Jim Chao,Kenny Gregg to name a few) , and they were asked what their secrets were to success.  Each one, from all walks of life, told of their favorite marketing pieces (youtube, facebook, article marketing, pay per click, etc).  But something very similar echoed throughout their responses.  Ultimately, each said you have to be diligent and willing to be consistent with your business each and every day.  Does this mean getting up at 6 a.m. and working until 11 p.m. at night? Absolutely not.  If you learn the mindset and skills and take massive action, you will get massive results and more free time than you ever thought possible in this incredible industry.  Not only does your income grow exponentially, your time to do the things that YOU want to do when YOU want to do them increases ten fold. Besides the money that comes, internet marketing brings you freedom to be in charge of your time, your schedule and many other facets of your life.  No more punching a time clock and being limited to an hourly wage and those wonderful cost of living raises!

My best advice is this; find someone in the industry that you connect with and has a successful business and take the time to get to know and learn from them. True leaders will be willing to share their successes with you because they understand that real success is not always about the almighty dollar. Now having money is a heck of a lot better and more fun than not having money!  I’ve been down both of those roads and I prefer the “having money” side of life. Helping others and giving back (or paying forward) is an added bonus to being a successful leader. 

Are you going to be a millionaire in 90 days? 180 days? 12 months?  More than likely not.
Don’t believe everything you read on the internet because the old saying holds very true with this industry as well; “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”. One thing I can promise is that earning a high income and achieving wealth will come much faster than you could ever imagine, and you won’t have to have an 8+ year college education and thousands of dollars in student loan debt to get there!

Everyone has a dream.  To make your dream a reality, you need the plan, the process, the people, the persistence, the patience and the passion. Become part of the 5% club that makes it in his business and start making your dreams a reality!

Petroleum, kerosene, liquid hydrogen, Cryogenic propellant? Do you need to be a rocket scientist to be a success in an internet or home business? Nope, but it is necessary that you have a regular flood of prospects. Lead generation fuels your business with prospects to keep your funneling system alive and effective.

During all of my training sessions, attracting people to you up front as opposed to your company or products is necessary. The leads will follow and your business will steadily grow and be strong during any economy.

Many people offer their opportunity the first time someone hits your blog or site, but I and many other successful marketers will not tell you this is the right way of doing business. You will feel sometimes that its just not worth it. If I have learned one thing from my success and the successes of other internet top marketers it is this; In order to turn your dreams into success, you have to work.

So what type of “gas” do you need to fuel and build a powerful lead generating system? I recommend taking a block of time every single day to work on marketing. Be diligent, consistent and keep focused with your business each and every day. You must have a way to build a list of followers to consistently market to, your social networking friends and to your new prospects that you are targeting.

Besides your close friends and family, how do people get to know what it is you offer? The power of the internet is in your hands and your goal every day is to meet and greet as many prospects as you can thru your marketing efforts. Your ultimate goal should be in excess of 100 leads funneling into your system every day. Some of you may have never generated a lead in your life, so set some goals. Generate 1 per day. Then 10 in a week, then 15 per day, then when you can consistently generate 25 or more each day, it’s a snowball effect and you will see a dramatic change in your income and yourself.

The big question is how? How do people find and get to know you? You must bring value to them so they willingly give you their contact information. Offer real value and give some of your “stuff” away for free. Newsletters, video tutorials, how to reports work wonderfully. You will not come across as a pushy salesperson only interested in making a quick buck. There are a few companies online that help you automatically build your list and . I personally use Aweber, but there are a few others online that work similiar to who I use .

The potential to have a successful online business,direct sales, mlm or any other type of home based business is limitless!

If you are not getting the results and are feeling less motivated, take a step back and recall the mindset that you had when you chose to get into your business. I needed to do this after my first 6 months in the industry. Get out paper and pen and write down everything that drives you to be an online business owner. On the top of my list is wealth, more time with my family, less stress, and doing things that I want to do when I want to do them. The most critical step in being a success is simple – TAKE ACTION. You wont get the leads if you wait for some force of nature or miracle to start dumping an endless supply of prospects into your marketing system.

To succeed, you must build your list and then market and reach out to them. If you show your prospects that you are sincere and are passionate about what you do, I can guarantee you that prosperity for you will follow. To make your dream a reality, have a plan in place, a system , the persistence and the passion for what you are doing.

Maximize your potential!

Learn how to be an expert with particular software or a specific marketing idea.  It helps highlight your competence and professionalism.  You will need to present potential partners with something that represents you as a professional, a leader who will help to improve their bottom line.

Presenting a professional image during the first phase or stage (the date) is extremely important.  It includes everything from the simple (appropriately dressed for photos or video) to the complex (your tone of voice in videos or on the phone reflects a professional attitude).  You also need to show that you are responsive with calls and emails to their questions, usually within a 24 hour window.  Demonstrate that you are reliable, competent and trustworthy.  Give your advice and facts with case studies of situations of how you or your system has helped similar people.  People relate to actual events and stories. Once you get up and really build a downline, you can use an indispensable tool-testimonials!  Start collecting little quotes and tidbits, drag them in a folder on your desktop, and over time you will have quite a collection to share on your blog or other marketing pieces.

Above all, closing the deal takes preparation and a positive attitude.  Being prepared simply entails having the answers to a prospects and future partners questions and being able to provide them with enough information and advice to make an informed decision to want to work with you.  By maintaining a positive attitude, you are encouraging others to do the same.  When you bring in higher quality leads to join your team or downline, essentially you are expanding your business while saving time and money and improving your personal time.  In the long run, you can build a valuable business that is repeatable and sustainable over time.
