So what does this movie have in common with the internet business, the presentation I just sat in on and the struggling home business owner?  Here’s my “Ebert and Roeper” movie / entrepreneur review.

So you ever feel like the walls are caving in around you and there is simply no chance for escape?  You have days and weeks of so much pressure you find it hard to breathe?  You start to run out of energy because you just don’t have the will to carry on any further and you want to just give up. “Fear runs deeper” is the tag line of this movie set in underground narrow caves in North America. If you liked the first movie (“The Decent”), then you will more than likely enjoy the second one. Most sequels are pretty weak, but this one pleasantly surprised me and I would recommend it even as a stand alone, even though it picks up right where the first one ended, and sort of comes full circle at the conclusion. If descending into the dark caverns beneath our safe and sound “surface” world scares you, then The Descent 2 is another attack into the dark subterranean world beneath ours. As with the original one, the scenery here is dark and creepy, giving you a sense of claustrophobia and paranoia.

“I’m scared.  It’s the feeling that keeps you alive.” This is a line that resonated with me last night, enough so that I had to pause the movie and right it down.  Think about it for a moment; feeling scared is what keeps us alive and kicking.  Even when you are on top of your business or organization, I believe the ones that persevere and continue to be the top producers have a tinge of fright that keeps us always aiming for more and to reach greater heights.

So listen, when you feel that your world is caving in and you find it hard to move or breath, you are no different than many of the success stories that you hear about in network marketing or any other business ventures out there.  The ones that don’t give in to the claustrophobic feelings of giving up are the ones that win.  Keep on pushing-this is an amazing industry with incredible opportunities.  You might be one step away from quitting and giving up, but remember this; you might also be one step away from a life changing breakthrough that will get you closer to reaching the dreams that got you involved in this industry in the first place. Its ok to be scared-It’s a feeling that keeps you alive! One important and crucial rule to turning contacts into relationships and one that you cannot skip over. The number one rule to live by is this; the more you do for them, the more they will do for you.  Help them and they will be inclined, if not compelled to help you. The more important you are to them, the more meaning and value you bring to the table, the more they will be to support and return the favor.  They will take your call and meet with you graciously. Do you remember one of your mom or dads early life lessons? Get outside and play with your friends, play nice, play fair and tell the truth!  Those still work today, even in a web 2.0 and beyond atmosphere.

Providing value to someone is a whole new twist and different way of thinking.  It means to give first rather than ask for something first.  Helping others so that they will look forward to helping you back.  The truth of the matter is this; good things come to those who have patience, take consistent action and are extremely persistent with those actions in order to reach out for the goals and dreams they want to achieve.

So to sum this rule up, simply go slow to become friends. It’s the fundamental principle in becoming connected.

Everyone goes to a networking event, whether it is your company meeting, local chamber of commerce, Facebook chats or the like to better themselves in some way or another.

So wouldn’t it make sense to be prepared to bring value and help someone else get better? Start small like the mustard seed that takes up to a couple years to grow.  Communicate value to every connection, every week, and in a year or two, your sphere of friends and business will begin to blossom.

So the law and secrets to attraction are about to revealed. It’s a process.  The secret is that very few people are willing to do it and that is great news for you.  If you are willing to work hard and keep at it, another secret is that results are slow and many get discouraged.  So discouraged that they end of quitting.  They quit just before they hit the jackpot.   The law of attraction in this industry is this; Put yourself in front of as many people who can and are able to say yes and deliver value first. They will love you for it.

I am a huge fan of Jeff Gitomers’ straightforward advice on selling and subjects creatively related to his core expertise in the sales process. In a world where some internet marketers are almost daily demonstrating why they can’t be trusted, the subject of “trustworthy connections” needed to be written about.

Whom do you know? What do you want? What do you do to get it? How do you connect? Who knows you?

You never have to look far to find people who have complaints about Network Marketing Companies. Many people believe that MLM is ‘the pyramid of evil’ and that anyone involved is a scammer of some sort. The first thing that I would like to address is why The Numis Network creates such dramatic criticism in the first place, something that if you’ve found your way to this review, you’ve probably noticed. In fact, I have never seen a company that creates such massive controversy.

The Numis Network is a network marketing company that promotes the collecting of coins while pairing this with a business opportunity. Numis realizes that most people have a passion for money and creating wealth. They also realize that many people already collect coins (aka numismatists). So this leads us to wonder, “Is the Numis Network just an over-hyped coin collection program tied into network marketing?” Even though the company is relatively new, their approach will catch on and many people will see the value of their core product. The owners of Numis not only have a combined total of over 60 years experience in the industry,but were top representatives of their own network marketing companies for the last 10 years and they developed International Direct Selling Technology Corporation, a software company that provides back office systems for other network marketing companies. IDSTC has consulted for over 400 different network marketing companies and currently supports about 150 companies in this industry.

What About The Coins?
Are They A Ripoff & Just Another Monthly Bill?

This is an excellent question and one that gets asked quite frequently among Numis prospects.
One of the funniest things about network marketers who take a look at Numis Network is this question.  But they never ask this or bring it up about any other company in the industry. Let me explain; I was talking to my neighbor who happents to be a distributor in a popular juice company the other night.  He tells me that he would never buy over priced coins, but at the same time, he is both selling and buying a couple hundred dollars worth of juice each month which amounts to a grand total of about two gallons of liquid product. You will never see me put down or criticize a juice or health company. But does that even make sense what is going on? As a distributor in this industry or from a consumer perspective, it’s a valid question. But if you’re in network marketing, that’s border line insanity! Now, they may have been better juices and vitamins, but let’s stop being a hypocrite.

You can find people who never made any money in Numis. Remember, 2 out of every 3 small businesses fail within the first 5 years. By nature, people look for an easy way to make money. Numis is not a ‘get rich quick’ scheme. If you treat it like one, you are surely going to lose your initial investment.

So what about the actual value of the product? The `value’ of any product is what someone is willing on a large scale to pay for it – it’s a simple phenomenon of supply and demand. I was in the mortgage industry for 20+ years and the same thing goes on in real estate. What someone is willing to pay for the product is how much it is worth. I was never a coin collector, but the Numismatic product niche is a $100 billion worldwide market, and one of the partners, Mike Mezack, PERSONALLY does more than $100 million in sales for this exact product annually – and there are hundreds of thousands of people who are more than happy to pay for it.

Is Numis Coins An Investment?

A lot of posts regarding the ‘scam’ accusation are centered on the premise that you can purchase a sliver eagle for $20. So why on earth would you buy one from Numis for $100? I must admit, that was one of my hang-ups also, but I was looking at it through the eyes of a precious metal investor – ironically, I had never even watched an entire business presentation from the company and I had no idea what the word `numismatic’ meant. When I finally did, I noticed that not just once, but at least three more times throughout the course of the presentation, that not only did the presenter specifically mention that Numis is NOT an investment, but that there was a whole five minute section of the presentation dedicated to explaining the exact difference between an `investment’ and a `collectible’! Once I took the time and watched the presentation, it finally hit me-I’ve been collecting “stuff” my whole life. I collected baseball and football cards, Indian arrowheads, comics, record albums and believe it or not, I had a massive collection of beer cans! My trading cards are probably worth $8-$10 thousand dollars. If I told you ‘historically, sport cards have gone up in value’… would you think that I was an investment advisor? I hope not. So stop trying to pretend that Numis reps are proposing investments, when on every page of the websites, and for five minutes in the presentation, they explain the exact difference between investments and collectibles. Over time, collectibles DO go up in value. It might not be in 5 years, 10, or even 15, but my relative still holds on to a mint condition vinyl album of Elvis Presley which is worth crazy ridiculous money, because over time, collectibles get more rare. I hope you can see how silly the whole `investment’ objection is? It doesn’t even remotely make sense unless you’re trying to say that the company does the EXACT OPPOSITE of what is right on the front of their websites. The fact that numismatic coins have a general history of appreciating in value over time is a definite plus. Everybody collects something. And guess what? Now I’m collecting gold and silver numismatic coins!

Is This Just Another Gold & Silver Scam?

There was a company called `Gold Unlimited’ in the 90’s that went under.  They were offering gold and silver also, but the critical difference is that this company and others like it were dealing in an entirely different product niche – they were marketing ungraded bullion coins for an unwarranted mark-up in price.

Petroleum, kerosene, liquid hydrogen, Cryogenic propellant? Do you need to be a rocket scientist to be a success in an internet or home business? Nope, but it is necessary that you have a regular flood of prospects. Lead generation fuels your business with prospects to keep your funneling system alive and effective.

During all of my training sessions, attracting people to you up front as opposed to your company or products is necessary. The leads will follow and your business will steadily grow and be strong during any economy.

Many people offer their opportunity the first time someone hits your blog or site, but I and many other successful marketers will not tell you this is the right way of doing business. You will feel sometimes that its just not worth it. If I have learned one thing from my success and the successes of other internet top marketers it is this; In order to turn your dreams into success, you have to work.

So what type of “gas” do you need to fuel and build a powerful lead generating system? I recommend taking a block of time every single day to work on marketing. Be diligent, consistent and keep focused with your business each and every day. You must have a way to build a list of followers to consistently market to, your social networking friends and to your new prospects that you are targeting.

Besides your close friends and family, how do people get to know what it is you offer? The power of the internet is in your hands and your goal every day is to meet and greet as many prospects as you can thru your marketing efforts. Your ultimate goal should be in excess of 100 leads funneling into your system every day. Some of you may have never generated a lead in your life, so set some goals. Generate 1 per day. Then 10 in a week, then 15 per day, then when you can consistently generate 25 or more each day, it’s a snowball effect and you will see a dramatic change in your income and yourself.

The big question is how? How do people find and get to know you? You must bring value to them so they willingly give you their contact information. Offer real value and give some of your “stuff” away for free. Newsletters, video tutorials, how to reports work wonderfully. You will not come across as a pushy salesperson only interested in making a quick buck. There are a few companies online that help you automatically build your list and . I personally use Aweber, but there are a few others online that work similiar to who I use .

The potential to have a successful online business,direct sales, mlm or any other type of home based business is limitless!

If you are not getting the results and are feeling less motivated, take a step back and recall the mindset that you had when you chose to get into your business. I needed to do this after my first 6 months in the industry. Get out paper and pen and write down everything that drives you to be an online business owner. On the top of my list is wealth, more time with my family, less stress, and doing things that I want to do when I want to do them. The most critical step in being a success is simple – TAKE ACTION. You wont get the leads if you wait for some force of nature or miracle to start dumping an endless supply of prospects into your marketing system.

To succeed, you must build your list and then market and reach out to them. If you show your prospects that you are sincere and are passionate about what you do, I can guarantee you that prosperity for you will follow. To make your dream a reality, have a plan in place, a system , the persistence and the passion for what you are doing.
