			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>To climb the ladder of success in marketing your home business, you don’t necessarily need more strategies, tactics and techniques.  You simply need more friends!  People want to do business with their friends, wouldn’t you agree?  So how we connect with more friends is the basis of this writing.</p>
<p>One important and crucial rule to turning contacts into relationships and one that you cannot skip over. The number one rule to live by is this; the more you do for them, the more they will do for you.  Help them and they will be inclined, if not compelled to help you. The more important you are to them, the more meaning and value you bring to the table, the more they will be to support and return the favor.  They will take your call and meet with you graciously. Do you remember one of your mom or dads early life lessons? Get outside and play with your friends, play nice, play fair and tell the truth!  Those still work today, even in a web 2.0 and beyond atmosphere.</p>
<p>Providing value to someone is a whole new twist and different way of thinking.  It means to give first rather than ask for something first.  Helping others so that they will look forward to helping you back.  The truth of the matter is this; good things come to those who have patience, take consistent action and are extremely persistent with those actions in order to reach out for the goals and dreams they want to achieve.</p>
<p>So to sum this rule up, simply go slow to become friends. It’s the fundamental principle in becoming connected.</p>
<p>Everyone goes to a networking event, whether it is your company meeting, local chamber of commerce, <a href="http://www.facebook.com/wayne.coakley">Facebook </a>chats or the like to better themselves in some way or another.</p>
<p>So wouldn’t it make sense to be prepared to bring value and help someone else get better? Start small like the mustard seed that takes up to a couple years to grow.  Communicate value to every connection, every week, and in a year or two, your sphere of friends and business will begin to blossom.</p>
<p>So the law and secrets to attraction are about to revealed. It’s a process.  The secret is that very few people are willing to do it and that is great news for you.  If you are willing to work hard and keep at it, another secret is that results are slow and many get discouraged.  So discouraged that they end of quitting.  They quit just before they hit the jackpot.   The law of attraction in this industry is this; Put yourself in front of as many people who can and are able to say yes and deliver value first. They will love you for it.</p>
<p>I am a huge fan of Jeff Gitomers&#8217; straightforward advice on selling and subjects creatively related to his core expertise in the sales process. In a world where some internet marketers are almost daily demonstrating why they can&#8217;t be trusted, the subject of &#8220;trustworthy connections&#8221; needed to be written about.</p>
<p>Whom do you know? What do you want? What do you do to get it? How do you connect? Who knows you?</p>
